Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth has the best gaming soundtrack of 2024, according to players

Nintendo hosted its first showcase of 2026 earlier today (February 5) with the Partner Direct revealing a number of huge games coming to the Switch 2 this year.

The Nintendo Partner Direct gave third-party developers a chance to showcase what they have in store for Switch owners over the next twelve months. The 30-minute video was full of big announcements though, much to the disappointment of fans, there was no news about Deltarune or The Duskbloods.

However, it was confirmed that Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, Fallout 4, Resident Evil: Requiem, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and many more will be arriving on the Switch 2 in the near future. 

Here’s everything that was announced at the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase:

A free Switch 2 upgrade for Hollow Knight: Silksong is available now.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered will launch on the Switch 2 at some point in 2026.

Indiana Jones And The Great Circle swings onto the Switch 2 from May 12

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is set to launch on the Switch 2 on February 24. As well as the base game, six expansions and a number of extra goodies will be included.

Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake are all coming to the Switch 2 on February 27. 

You’ll be able to fight dinosaurs and aliens in the action adventure game Turok: Origins when it launches for the Switch 2 in autumn 2026.

Capcom’s dystopian buddy hacker game Pragmata will be released April 24 for the Switch 2 while a demo will go live later today.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is finally coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on June 3, 2026.

Super Bomberman Collection, a bundle of classic Bomberman games, is out right now for both the original Switch and the Switch 2.

Square Enix’s time-travelling The Adventures Of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will launch June 18, 2026.

Pro Evo successor eFootball Kick-Off! is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 at some point this summer. 

As well as coming to PlayStation later this year, Viking survival classic Valheim will also be arriving on the Switch 2.

Creepy dinosaur stealth horror Tokyo Scramble will launch on the Switch 2 next week (February 11).

Arcade anime football game Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighter is coming to Switch, PlayStation, PC and Xbox at some point in 2026. 

Spooky underwater horror Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse is due to launch February 19 for Switch and Switch 2.

Anime co-op adventure Orbitals will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 this summer.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 subscribers will be able to play two previously-unreleased classic games when the Virtual Boy goes live on the console’s Virtual Library

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can also look forward to a handful of new GameCube titles this year including Super Mario Sunshine, Pokémon XD: Gale Of Darkness and Pokémon Colosseum.

In other news Strauss Zelnick, the boss of Grand Theft Auto publishers Take-Two, has reassured fans that GTA 6 won’t use any generative AI.
